Kota Doria is a traditional handloom fabric from Kota, Rajasthan, known for its signature fine square-check weave ("khat") and its exceptionally light, sheer, airy texture. Woven from a blend of cotton and silk, it has a soft matte body with a subtle silk sheen — one of the most breathable of all Indian handloom fabrics. Each piece is block printed by artisans in India, so slight variations in the print are natural and unique to the handmade process.
Its featherlight, breathable weave makes it ideal as a summer wrap, a resort or evening cover-up, a statement scarf over a dress or coat, or a dupatta with Indian and Indo-fusion outfits.
